Atsushi Shimizu, Chairman of the Board
After finishing Graduate School in University of Tokyo, he was engaged in research and development of factory automation equipment in KEYENCE Japan. During the Great East Japan Earthquake, he started to develop Magnus Vertical Axis Wind Turbine on his own. In October 2014, he founded Challenergy Inc.
Paul Michael Robles, President & CEO
Paul Michael Robles graduated from the University of Asia and the Pacific with a degree in entrepreneurship and management. He serves as the VP for Sales and Marketing with Sta. Lucia Land Inc., a major real estate developer in the Philippines. Michael is also the CEO of PMR Prime Development, Inc., a general construction company.
Shingo Koyama, Vice President.
Joined the company in 2021 December, seconded from Challenergy Inc. Shingo Koyama is an Electrical Engineer by profession and has been involved in the design and construction of the Magnus Vertical Axis Wind Turbine. Shingo was the force behind the successful construction of the Batanes Pilot Project. He is now leading the local fabrication of the microwind turbine model of Challenergy.
Warren Sarmiento, Director for Corporate Affairs
Previously a practicing emergency medical doctor, Warren Sarmiento has since been involved in many medical and non-medical-related business endeavors. He remains the president of the Sta. Lucia Health Care Center while serving as member of the board of directors for CETI Philippines since 2011 and Ureka Steel Industries Company since 2001.
Maria Lourdes Dario, Director for Project Development
With years of industry experience, Maria Lourdes Dario also serves as the head consultant for NAREDCO. She is the director for energy efficiency and renewable energy at Center for Emerging Technologies u0026amp; Innovations (CETI) of the Philippines. A scholar of the Japanese Ministry of Education, she garnered her B.S. Biology degree (major in Molecular Genetics) from Kyushu University in Fukuoka, Japan.
